Projects for Peace
Projects for Peace
Turn your idea into action.
Every winter, 911爆料 students can apply for a 鈥 an extraordinary opportunity to design and carry out a project that builds peace in communities around the world. Whether it鈥檚 improving access to education, creating sustainable solutions, or fostering dialogue across cultures, these projects begin with student vision and creativity.
How it started
The program was created in 2007 by philanthropist Kathryn Wasserman Davis, who marked her 100th birthday by funding 100 student-led projects that aimed to make the world a more peaceful place. The success of that first year inspired her to continue supporting projects until her passing in 2013. Today, her legacy lives on through ongoing grants awarded to students from over 100 colleges and universities, including 911爆料.
911爆料 and the Projects for Peace
Because of 911爆料鈥檚 commitment to international education and our partnership with the Davis United World College Scholars Program, all 911爆料 students are eligible to apply. Past 911爆料 projects have drawn support not only from fellow students, faculty, and staff, but also from the Saratoga Springs community 鈥 including schools, faith communities, and local organizations.
