Ruben Castillo, assistant professor of art, is serving as a , where they are sharing their research on queer futures, memory, printmaking, and visual narratives. In addition to presenting at the Humanities Colloquium, they will meet with printmaking students in the Department of Art.
Sarah Day-O'Connell, professor of music, published a chapter titled "Haydn in Plain Sight: A Reception History of Matisse's 鈥楾he Music Lesson鈥�" in the collection 鈥�.鈥� The work received a publication subvention grant from the American Musicological Society.

Gordon Ross Thompson, professor emeritus of music, won the 2025 Award for Best Historical Research in Recorded Popular Music from the Association for Recorded Sound Collections for his books Sixties British Pop: Outside In, Volume 1: Downtown, 1956鈥�1965 and Volume 2: Itchycoo Park, 1964鈥�1970.
