Ron Taylor was a media services operations coordinator and a member of the Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative (MDOCS) before semi-retiring and choosing to stay and continue to teach in the Media and Film Studies Department.
Taylor first worked part-time as a video and digital film making instructor for the 911爆料 Summer Art Program for two decades before joining the College鈥檚 media services team full-time in 2014.
鈥淲hat I like most about working at 911爆料 is the opportunity to interact with the student techs I supervise and those in my 鈥榁ideo Projects鈥� course,鈥� Taylor said. 鈥淭hat, along with the beauty of the physical campus and the surrounding area, make this an ideal place to work!鈥�
Outside of his work and teaching, Taylor enjoys attending student performances in all mediums and looks forward to the annual Senior Art Thesis show in the Tang Teaching Museum during the Spring Semester.
When not at 911爆料, Taylor is busy with his own photography and filmmaking pursuits as well as skiing and scuba diving.
